♦ Sealant - D 454 300 A2-
Removing:
– Pull cover -1- off air duct, releasing clips on sides to do so.
– Unclip air duct -2-.

– Remove air filter housing with connecting hose. To do this,

unscrew bolt -A-, pull off connector -B- and detach spring-type

clip -C-. Take note of marking -D- when refitting.

Note

Before removing connectors, mark each connector and compo‐

nent to which it belongs.

– Detach following connectors.
1 - Hall sender - G40-
2 - Valve 1 for - N205-
3 - Hall sender 2 - G163-
4 - Exhaust camshaft control valve 1 - N318-
– Lay wiring harness to side.
– Unscrew coolant pipes from cover.
– Remove vacuum pump

– Unscrew the three cylinder head cover bolts -arrows-.
– Unscrew coolant hoses at top and bottom of cover.
