♦ There must be a distance -a- of at least 10 mm between engine
support and longitudinal member (right side).
♦ The side surface of the engine support -2- should be located
parallel to the support arm -1-.
– Tighten bolts for engine assembly mounting and engine brack‐
– Install pendulum support.
– Bolt front exhaust pipe with catalytic converters to exhaust
manifold.
– Install drive shafts ⇒ Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.
40 ; Drive shaft; Removing and installing drive shaft .
– Install the heat shield for the drive shaft.
– Install air conditioner compressor ⇒ Heating, air conditioning;
Rep. gr. 87 ; Air conditioner compressor; Removing and in‐
stalling air conditioner compressor from and to bracket .
– Install fan support with fans.
– Reconnect fuel supply line -1- and breather line -2-.
– Install poly V-belt
– Install noise insulation ⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep.
gr. 66 ; Noise insulation; Assembly overview – noise insula‐
tion .
– Connect vehicle diagnostic tester.
– Read all the event memories and delete any entries that may
have been made during assembly.
– Conduct test drive and generate readiness code ⇒ Vehicle di‐
agnostic tester “Guided Function”.
– Then carry out vehicle system test again, rectify any event en‐
tries which may have occurred.
Note
If the event memory was cleared, the readiness code must be
generated ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester “Guided Functions”.
