In this dialog you will define the basic parameters that you wish to use when creating the fill.
The significant fields that you need to work with are described below:
Tool: Important Field - This is the cutting tool that you intend to use for the fill. The tool
dimensions are defined in the tool library and are used when determining the tool path and
cutter offset for the fill. All tools currently defined in the tool library will be available in the
drop down field.
The tip size of the tool you select does have an impact on both the engraving time and the
quality of the fill. Too large a cutter and you may see gaps in the logo where the tool could
not fit in the narrow portions of the artwork. A smaller tool will generate sharper inside
corners at the expense of longer engraving time. You should try to select a tool that will
handle the narrow portions of the artwork and give acceptable inside corners without
excessive tool motion.
Depth:
The depth field is used when Vision Pro needs to tell the engraver to move the tool
deeper into the material than the surface position set by the controller. For depth nose
engraving in Plastic the depth should be left at 0.
Color:
This is the color used for the tool paths that will be created by this command. We
generally use this color to define a particular engraving tool. If your job requires several
