7 Operating the controller
Advance function:

VRC 630
The Advance function is enabled when the menu is dis-
played.
No settings are possible
The heating and hot water times are extended beyond
the next switch-off point to the start of the next heating
period, i.e. the actual settings for the heating are tem-
porarily overridden.
The Advance function only affects those heating or
DHW cylinder circuits which are set to
Auto or Eco .
Check that the heating circuit and DHW cylinder are
set to the
Auto or Eco mode.
If this is not the case, set them to Auto or Eco
( ¬ Chap. 7.2.1 ).
When the last heating circuit starts to heat again
(change from set-back to heating), the Advance function
is automatically ended and the controller reverts to the
basic display.
Aborting the Advance function
Press the left hand knob twice.
The controller ends the Advance function and changes
back to the basic display.

One-time Cylinder Charging

The One-time cylinder charging function is enabled
when the menu is displayed.
Enables the DHW cylinder to charge up once, inde-
pendently of the current timer programme
No settings are possible
When the water in the cylinder has been heated to the
set temperature, the function is ended automatically
and the controller reverts to the basic display.

The hot water temperature is defined by the
heating engineer when commissioning the
heating installation.
Aborting One-time cylinder charging
Press the left hand knob once.
The controller ends the One-time cylinder charging
function and changes back to the basic display.
