The DNS show command now displays the DNS servers and the order for name resolution.
Example
0001:network$ dns show
nameserver 192.168.110.224
nameserver 192.168.110.104
hosts: files dns
DNS show SUCCESS
If you type
dns switchhosts
, the
dns show
command shows that the DNS name resolution has been reversed:
0002:network$ dns switchhosts
Switched hosts sources in nsswitch.conf.
0003:network$ dns show
nameserver 10.3.110.224
nameserver 10.3.110.104
hosts: dns files
DNS show SUCCESS
Configure DSM ports
If a DSM is to communicate with a device behind a firewall, you must open various ports in the firewall.
