The Sentinel V Real-Time uses the following commands to control certain system parameters.

Control System Command Descriptions
CB – Serial Port Control
Purpose
Sets the RS-232/422 serial port communications parameters (Baud Rate/Parity/Stop Bits).
Format
CBnnn
Range
nnn = baud rate, parity, stop bits (see description)
Default
CB411
Recommended Setting. The default setting for this command is recommended for most applications.
Description The Sentinel V Real-Time and the computer MUST use the same communication parame-
ters to talk to each other. After a valid CB parameters are entered, the Sentinel V Real-Time
responds with a “>” prompt. Then change the external device’s communication parameters
to match the Sentinel V Real-Time parameters before sending another command.
