2. Set:
Channel 1 AC-GND-DC DC
INTEN Visible display
3. Connect a 10X probe to the Channel 1 input con­
nector and connect the probe tip to the AMPL CAL output.
4. Adjust the Channel 1 POSITION control to center
the display on the screen.
5. Adjust the A TRIGGER LEVEL control fo r a stable
display o f the AMPL CAL signal.
6. Slowly adjust the FOCUS control to its optimum
setting (best defined display). If the ASTIG adjustment is
correctly set, all portions o f the trace w ill come into
sharpest focus at the same position o f the FOCUS control.
ASTIGMATISM
1. Preset instrument controls and obtain a Normal
Sweep Display (refer to "Instrum ent Fam iliarization").
NOTE
The setting o f the ASTIG adjustment should be
correct fo r any display. However, i t may be necessary
to reset the FOCUS co ntrol slightly when the
IN TEN control setting is changed.
