Unknown signals can then be quickly and accurately

compared w ith the reference signal w itho ut disturbing the
setting of the VO LTS/DIV VAR control. The procedure

is as follows.

5. Disconnect the reference signal and apply the

unknown  signal  to  be  measured  to   the same  channel  input.
Adjust  the  VO LTS/D IV  switch  to   a  setting  that  provides
sufficient  vertical  deflection  to  make  an  accurate  measure
ment.
