VERTICAL GAIN CHECK
1. Preset instrument controls and obtain a Normal
Sweep Display (refer to "Instrum ent Fam iliarization").
2. Set:
AC-GND-DC (both)
DC
3. Connect a 10X probe to the Channel 1 input con
nector and connect the probe tip to the AMPL CAL output.
4. Adjust the INTEN control fo r desired brightness and
adjust the FOCUS control fo r best defined display.
5. Adjust the A TRIGGER LEVEL control for a stable
display of the AMPL CAL signal.
7. Check fo r a vertical display amplitude o f 4 divisions
±0.2 division (3.8 to 4.2 divisions). See Figure 12.
8. Repeat steps 3 through 7 using Channel 2.
