FUEL AND LUBRICATION SYSTEM

FUEL VALVE

INSPECTION AND REMOVAL

Gaosoline is highly flammable and explosive.

Keep heat, sparks, and flames away from gasoline.

REMOUNTING

Remount the fuel valve in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following point.
• Properly route the fuel valve hoses. (

7-12)

• Remove the lower leg shield. (

5-5)

• Disconnect the fuel valve vacuum hose

from the carburetor.

• Disconnect the fuel hose

from the fuel pump.

• Apply negative pressure

to the fuel valve and then check the

fuel flow.

If fuel does not flow, replace the fuel valve with a new one.

• Disconnect the fuel tank air vent hose

, fuel hose

, fuel

valve vacuum hose

and fuel hose

from the fuel valve.

• Remove the fuel valve.
