BEARINGS
Wash the bearing with a cleaning solvent and lubricate it with
motor oil before inspection. Rotate the inner race and check to
see that it turns smoothly. If it does not turn quietly and smoothly,
or if there are signs of any abnormalities, the bearing is defective
and must be replaced with a new one.
RIGHT REAR AXLE SHAFT BEARING
• Remove the bearing retainer

• Remove the right rear axle shaft bearing using the special tool.

Replace the removed bearing with a new one.
• Install the right rear axle shaft bearing using the special tool.

• Install the bearing retainer

Apply THREAD LOCK “1322” to the screws.

• Tighten the screws to the specified torque.

Bearing retainer screw: 8 N.m (0.8 kgf.m)
