Line voltage monitoring POM4220 Lowend, POM4220 Midrange phase angle control and
POM4220 Flexible
The monitoring function is only available for these modules if a PM U/I is plugged in.
Permitted line voltage range:
● POM4220 Lowend: 207 V to 253 V AC
● POM4220 Midrange phase angle control: 207 V AC to 300 V AC
● POM4220 Flexible:
Monitoring for the smallest and greatest value of the POM used
(max. 45 V - 10 % to 300 V)
Line supply voltage monitoring POM4220 Highend
The measured values of the POM are used for monitoring. The permitted voltage range is:
● 207 to 300 V AC for:
–
Connection between phase and neutral conductor
– 2-pin connection between phase and neutral conductor
● 360 to 520 V AC for:
–
Connection between phase and phase
– 2-pin connection between phase and phase
– Economy circuit
Line supply voltage monitoring POM4320
The measured values of the POM are used for monitoring.
The permitted line voltage range is 360 V AC to 520 V AC.
9.7.4 Monitoring of the 24 V DC supply voltage
The 24 V DC supply voltage is monitored on the CIM. If the 24 V fails, the power outputs of
the POMs are automatically deactivated. There is no manufacturer-specific diagnostics
alarm in the case of failure of the 24 V supply. Instead, the PROFINET/PROFIBUS controller
detects and signals failure of the HCS system or individual modules.
