12.5 Replacing a power output module (POM)

SIPLUS HCS4200 PROFINET/PROFIBUS DP
Operating Instructions, 07/2019, A5E35066204A/006

Steps

1 Unscrew the two fixing screws on the POM

①

2 Loosen POM with the help of the ejection lever

②

and pull out the POM

③

3 Place POM on an ESD-compatible surface.

NOTICE
Damage to the POM
The POM may be damaged during removal by tilting.
Pull the POM out of the enclosure without tilting it.

Follow the instructions in the following section:

Replacing the POM4320

Tool

●

4 mm screwdriver

●

Wrench, size 10 for the nuts of the ground screw

Preparations

Remove all connectors from the POM.
With backplane mounting: Remove the supply cables from the mains supply.

Disconnect the ground connection for the POM at the front screw terminal.
