6.1 Adding and configuring drives in the device configuration

Checking the encoder connection / drive connection

The encoder data are applied to the position control cycle clock. If in doubt, check the

following settings:
1.

Switch to the device view of the PLC.

Select the module technology.

Open the properties dialog "Basic Parameters > I/O Addresses".

The following settings apply for the input and output addresses:
–

"MC Servo" must be select the "Organization block".

–

"PIP OB Servo" must be select the "Process image".

Select the analog module.

Open the properties dialog "Name of the Analog Module > I/O Addresses".

The settings from Step 4 apply for the input and output addresses
