USING THE VARIOUS SHOOTING FUNCTIONS

Setting the Digital Zoom

This setting allows you to set whether or not the digital zoom becomes active when shooting.

Display the Shooting Option Setting Screen (see page
29).

Select “DIGITAL ZOOM”, and press the SET button.

The Digital Zoom Setting Screen appears.

To cancel the setting, press the MODE button. You
return to the screen in step 1.

Select the desired digital zoom setting, and press the SET button.

[ON]:

Digital zoom can be used.

[OFF]:

Digital zoom cannot be used.

This completes the digital zoom setting.

The display returns to the Shooting Option Setting Screen.

The digital zoom setting is retained even if the main switch is set to

or “MONITOR

OFF”, or if the camera is turned off.

NOTE

The digital zoom magnification ratio is shown in the table below.

The digital zoom does not work in

and

resolutions.

When the digital zoom is used, the image may not be as sharp.
