SETTING THE TV SYSTEM

This setting is to specify the type of image signal that is output from the camera’s DIGITAL/AV
terminal.

Display the Shooting Option Setting Screen (or
Playback Option Setting Screen) (see page 29).

Select “TV SYSTEM”, and press the SET button.

The TV System Setting Screen appears.

Press

on the arrow button to select the

appropriate TV system, and press the SET button.

NTSC: To output NTSC video signals

PAL:

To output PAL video signals

This completes the TV system setting.

The display returns to the Shooting Option Setting
Screen (or Playback Option Setting Screen).

The TV system setting is retained even if the main switch
is set to

or “MONITOR OFF”, or if the camera is

turned off.

NOTE

If the TV system setting is not correct for the connected TV, you will not be able to view the
images on the TV (see page 102).

When “PAL” is the selected setting, if the AV cable is connected to the camera’s DIGITAL/AV
terminal, no indication appears on the LCD monitor screen.
