SEQUENTIAL SHOT
This digital camera allows three types of sequential shots: standard, AE shift sequential shot, and
best select shots. Pre-capture function allows to take pictures instantly when the shutter release
button is pressed. To avoid missing a photo opportunity, see page 60.

Sequential shot speed
You can take sequential shots with images captured at 0.05-second, 0.06-second, 0.1-second, or
0.2-seconds intervals. At the standard
Ö
setting, the maximum number of images captured is
shown below.
0.2- and 0.1-second interval:
At
Ò
resolution, up to 8 images are captured with the
D
compression rate and up to 15 images with the
G
compression rate. At
4
resolution, up to 50 images are
captured.
0.06- and 0.05-second interval:
At
4
resolution, up to 50 images are captured.

NOTE
œ
When shooting a picture at a resolution of
4
and sequential shot speed of
Ú
or
!
, the
ISO sensitivity is automatically doubled, thus allowing you to capture a bright image without
noise (Vertical Pixel Mixing (VP mix)). For this reason, the image quality may differ from the still
images or images captured at a resolution of
4
and sequential shot speed of
Ù
or

.
Standard sequential shot
Ö
: A normal sequential shot. (The number of images captured is
set by the sequential shot speed. See below.)
Four sequential images are captured for you to select which one
to save.
AE shift sequential shot
A
:
Seven sequential images are captured while the exposure (or
shutter speed) is changed automatically.
