To ensure the safe use of the laser,
ensure that the laser beam does not point
at the eyes. A direct laser irradiation has a
negative impact on your eyesight.
Note:
Class 1 laser products must be marked
with a respective warning note.
The laser-based reflective sensor offered
by REA JET is a class 1 laser product.
A corresponding sticker is attached to the
housing side of the sensor. If an assembly
element of the labeling is concealed or
warnings are not visible as a result of the
assembly, an additional visible warning
(sticker) must be provided.
When mounting this sensor to the HR
print head while using the provided
assembly bracket, the sticker attached to
the sensor is concealed. In order to be
able to attach a visible warning at a
different location, the delivery of this
sensor contains a separate sticker (see
left) for each sensor delivery.
Furthermore, the following information is
required:
Laser warning symbol
Marking of the label class
Wavelength of the laser light, e.g.
650 nm
Manufacturer / importer
A corresponding sticker for marking is
included in each sensor delivery.
