Step 3:
Turn the control for sensitivity to "min" left stop
(counter clockwise).
The green operating display must be light when the
control is in this position, the orange-colored display
must be off.
If this is not the case, please check the power supply
of the sensor and the opening in the stripper plate for
the light club of the sensor. No product residues or
reflecting material may be in the opening. The (mat)
anodized layer of the opening may not be damaged.

Step 4:
Position the product to be detected in front of the
sensor, just like it will be guided along the stripper
plate of the print head later.

Step 5:
Now, turn the control for sensitivity slowly to the right
(clockwise) until the orange output display is lit.
Bookmark the position of the control as point I
.
(This is generally the min. required sensitivity.)
The green operating display must still be lit. If it is no
longer lit, please repeat steps 2 to 5.

Step 6:
Remove the product to be detected some 50 mm from
the sensor / stripper plate. The orange output display
has to turn off again.

Step 7:
Now, turn the control for sensitivity slowly further to the
right (clockwise) until the orange output display is lit
again.
Bookmark the position of the control as
point II.
(This is generally the max. required
sensitivity.)
The green operating display must still be lit. If it is no
longer lit, please repeat steps 2 to 7.

Step 8:
Remove the product to be detected from the input area
of the sensor. The light club has to be free again.
The orange output display has to turn off again.
If the orange output display does not turn off, repeat
steps 2 to 8. In this case, the distance of the product to
the stripper plate should be reduced in step 6.
