Description / Step
4
Step 3:
Turn the control for scanning range to "min" left stop
(counter clockwise). Please note that this is a five-
speed control.
The green operating display must be light when the
control is in this position, the orange-colored display
must be off.
If this is not the case, check the power supply of the
sensor and the opening in the stripper plate for the
light club of the sensor. No product residues or
reflecting material may be in the opening. The (mat)
anodized layer of the opening may not be damaged.
5
Step 4:
Position the product to be detected in front of the
sensor, just like it will be guided along the stripper
plate of the print head later.
6
Step 5:
Now, turn the control for scanning range slowly to the
right (clockwise) until the orange output display is lit.
Please note that this is a five-speed control.
The green operating display must still be lit. If it is no
longer lit, please repeat steps 2 to 5.
7
Step 6:
Remove the product from the input area of the sensor.
If the orange output display goes off and the green
display continues to be lit, the setting is completed.
8
Step 7:
If the green operating display tuns off once the product
has been removed, repeat the setting from step 2.
9
Step 8:
If both displays are lit after the product has been
removed, this might be attributed to the sensitivity
being set a bit too high. A complete restart may not be
necessary.
Now, turn the control for sensitivity a little bit to the left
(counter-clockwise) until the orange output display is
turned off. The green operating display must still be lit.
Check whether the orange output display is lit again
when you, as described in step 4, place a product in
front of the sensor.
If the orange output display is off after removing the
product and the green operating display is lit, the
setting is completed. Otherwise, start again at step 2.
