3.2.6.3 Assembly for direct fixation
If the I/O multiplier is to be installed directly, first the assembly plate with the two mounts for TS35
assembly has to be removed.
I
) Unscrew the four housing screws and fold back/remove the lid.
II
) Then unscrew the two fastening screws of the assembly plate.

) Turn the housing around and remove the screws.

) Remove the assembly plate.

The I/O multiplier can now be mounted at the desired space. To do so, proceed as follows.
Dimensions of the housing: 125 mm x 80 mm x 85 mm (length x width x height incl.
bushing)
Place two fixing holes or threaded holes at the respective location. The hole distances can
be found on the back of the housing. The dimensions are 113 mm x 52 mm.
Assemble the housing with suitable screws (max, size M5).
Close the housing lid and tighten the four screws. Make sure that the protective conducting
wiring does not get stuck and that the lid seal is in proper order.
The holes for the two fastening screws of the housing are outside
the sealed area. This way protection class IP 65 is also maintained
in the case of direct assembly, without have to seal the assembly
location!
To achieve the IP protection class, unused connections have to be
sealed with the corresponding caps.
