3.2.3.8 Press-on element
The press-on element is a simple and cost-effective assembly device for shaft encoders with solid
shafts. With this model, the torque plate of the swinging link is cast in one piece with an elastomer
in the counter bearing The setting range for the contact pressure is considerably lower than with the
suspended measuring arm or the HD mount.
The delivery scope of the shaft encoder 054.875.100 (with M23 flanged plug) includes a retainer
sheet. This retainer sheet is suitable for direct use with the press-on element.

The contact pressure is reached by twisting the swinging
link to the counter bearing and therefore via the elastomer.
Due to the high rigidity of the elastomer, caution should be
given when making settings so that the contact pressure is
not set too high.
Due to the construction principle (the connection of the
swinging link and the counter bearing via the elastomer),
this press-on element cannot avoid interfering contours.
3.2.4 Installing the signal lamp
With the signal lamp optionally offered by REA JET, the operating status and the messages of the
REA JET HR
pro
2K/4K can be displayed clearly and visibly. To meet the requirements of the
various applications, REA JET offers three different variants. All variants are easy to assemble, are
highly durable and are equipped with energy-saving LED technology.
3.2.4.1 Signal lamp type 1

This type is equipped with a round assembly foot.
The connector plug is connected in the center of
the assembly foot. The cable outlet is downward.
This base enables direct mounting onto cabinets
with the cable outlet in the circuit.
The REA JET HR standard I/O cable can be used
for connection. See 4.2.20 for this.
