This section contains the instructions, descriptions and supplementary information on the assembly
(mechanical installation) of the REA JET HR
pro 2K/4K and the respective accessories.
The following components / functions are required to operate the
REA JET HR
pro 2K/4K marking system:

REA JET HR pro 2K/4K Control device

Print head

Print head cable

Print trigger (by means of a retrofitted or external product
sensor or a digital input)

Ink cartridge
All additionally offered components serve to simplify installation or
improve print quality. The following description of the individual
components contain the corresponding information on their usage
and optimum deployment.
Applicable accident protection guidelines must be observed
during installation.
We also recommend observing the following
standards/guidelines:


3.2.1 Assembly of the REA JET HR pro 2K/4K control device
The following points must be taken into account when assembling the control device:

The fastening point for the control device must be stable enough to accommodate the
weight of the device (approx. 5 kg.)

When assembling the device, it must be ensured that the transfer of machine vibrations is
ruled out to the greatest extent possible. Otherwise the respective supports have to be
installed.

Usability (ergonomics) is an important factor to take into consideration when installing the
control device. The future operators should be taken into account here. The buttons must be
easily accessible and the display readable for this group of people. Plus the slanting position
of the device must be set so that no reflections / blinding occur on the display.
