Offset

The offset of the pattern is defined with respect to the start of the useful part of the
burst (see also the note in

"Continuous Signal / Burst Signal"

on page 147). If the posi-

tion of the pattern within the burst is known, it is recommended that you define the off-
set. That will accelerate the pattern search and enhance the accuracy of the burst
search.
