HF Series X-ray Generators - Service Manual

1. Generator Cabinet ON/OFF Cir-

cuit Breakre is OFF.

2. ON/STDBY Rocker Switch on 

OCP (non-Q-Connect Sys-
tems) or Power/Expose Control 
Box (Q-Connect Systems) is set 
to STDBY.

3. Facility electrical has been 

interrupted.

4. Filament automatically shuts off 

after 60 minutes of inactivity.

4. The exposure setting(s) exceed 

the tube or model limits.

5. Faulty communications 

between generator and OCP.

6. Incorrect generator program or 

generator is not working.

7. Lost communication between 

OCP and generator cabinet.

1.Verify that the ON/OFF Circuit 

Breaker on Generator is ON.

2. Set ON/STDBY Rocker Switch on 

OCP (non-Q-Connect Systems) or 
Power/Expose Control Box (Q-
Connect Systems) to ON.

3.  Check, and if possible, reset Facil-

ity electrical service.

4.  Press PREP key. An error mes-

sage displays on the operator con-
trol panel. Refer to appropriate 
error message listed in this table 
for error details. Press any key to 
clear error. System should now be 
ready for exposure.

5.  Non-Q-Connect Systems only: 

Check serial cable connection 
between OCP and generator cabi-
net and jumper settings on OCP 
Control Board (AY40-004S1).
