Troubleshooting

Problem

Possible Solution

If the cases fail to Set-Up …

Verify the sensors are not misaligned, malfunctioning or dirty

Verify the timing in the PLC is properly adjusted.

To clear a jam at Set-up, open the guard door.

Raise the setup arm and lock in the upright position using the locking key.

Remove the box(es) that are creating the jam.

Remove the locking key from the setup arm and carefully lower the setup arm.

Close the guard door.

Warning! Cut and Crush Hazard!

Keep clear of set-up arm when entering.
Consult the machine operations manul for proper procedure when clearing a jam or machine
adjustments.
Failure to comply could result in serious injury.

If the case fails at seal …

Verify the sensors are not misaligned, malfunctioning or dirty.

Verify the timing in the PLC is properly adjusted.

Verify the pressure sensitive tape has been applied.

If the Flight Time is exceeded …

Verify the sensors are not misaligned, malfunctioning or dirty.

Verify the flight lug that activate sensor is not missing or broken.

If the cases jam in the flights …

Verify the sensors are not misaligned, malfunctioning or dirty.
