Troubleshooting

Problem

Possible Solution

If the blanks from the magazine feed do not pull off
correctly …

Check the vacuum system for clogging.

Check vacuum cups; replace if worn.

Check the adjustment of the magazine side guides.

Verify the vacuum cups are not hitting the manufacturer’s seam.

Check timing of the vacuum release.

Warning! Cut and Crush Hazard!

Keep clear of set-up arm when entering.
Consult the machine operations manul for proper procedure when clearing a jam or machine
adjustments.
Failure to comply could result in serious injury.

If the Set-up Arm does not operate …

Check the bearings and pivot arms; lubricate, repair or replace as required.

Check pneumatics.

Check all adjustments.

Check the flight update proximity switch to be sure it is actually sensing the flight lug.

Check the magazine extend proximity switch to be sure it is sensing and functioning correctly.

If the Set-Up Arm will not erect the case or damages the
case …

Check the Set-up Arm adjustments; adjust as necessary.

Check the adjustment for the minor flap guide; adjust as necessary.

Check the vacuum system and vacuum cups.
