Heating circuit
11.6 Enabling heating/cooling
Description
Enable heating Here you can see whether or not heating is en-
abled and why.
On The outdoor temperature heating limit is not
exceeded. The heating circuit is operating in
heating mode.
ON - Room
too cold
The outdoor temperature heating limit is ex-
ceeded, but the actual room temperature is too
low. Heating is enabled.
OFF - Room
too warm
The outdoor temperature heating limit is not ex-
ceeded, but the actual room temperature is too
high. Heating is not enabled.
Off The outdoor temperature heating limit is ex-
ceeded. Heating is not enabled.
Enable cooling Here you can see whether or not cooling is en-
abled and why.
On The outdoor temperature has not fallen below
the cooling limit. The heating circuit is operating
in cooling mode.
ON - Room
too warm
The outdoor temperature has fallen below the
cooling limit, but the room temperature is too
high. Cooling is enabled.
OFF - Room
too cold
The outdoor temperature has not fallen below
the cooling limit, but the room temperature is
too low. Cooling is not enabled.
Off The outdoor temperature has fallen below the
cooling limit. Cooling is not enabled.
OFF - Outage
time
A heat demand has been terminated. An
outage time must elapse before cooling is en-
abled.
Viewing enable heating

Open the menu.

Select the heating circuit for which you want to view
enable heating.

Select “Heating curve”.
Viewing enable cooling
»
Open the menu.
»
Select the heating circuit for which you want to view
enable cooling.
»
Select “Cooling curve”.
11.7 Room temperature compensation
With this type of control, the target flow temperature is
influenced by the room temperature. The prerequisite for
this is a valid room temperature, measured by a room tem-
perature sensor.

If you want room temperature compensation, contact
your system partner or switch to expert mode.
11.8 Frost protection
When the heating circuit is switched off, frost protection
prevents the heat sink system from freezing.
If the temperature in the heat sink system or the room
temperature falls below the frost protection temperature,
the heat pump switches to frost protection mode.
Frost protection mode runs until:
► the room temperature is 1K higher than the set frost
protection temperature. This can be set in expert
mode via the parameter: “Target room temperature
frost protection”
► the flow temperature is 2K higher than the set flow
frost protection temperature. This can be set in expert
mode via the parameter: “Target flow temperature
frost protection”
If no valid room temperature is available, this value is sim-
ulated by the controller.
11.9 Operating data
In this submenu, you can view the individual data of the
heating circuit. The values in this menu cannot be changed.

The heating circuit is in the following
operating program: Manual heating
This operating program can only be
set in expert mode and should only be
used for testing purposes.
Manual cool-
ing
The heating circuit is in the following
operating program: Manual cooling
This operating program can only be
set in expert mode and should only be
used for testing purposes.
Standard
heating
The heating circuit is in heating mode.
The temperature is regulated to the
target value: Target room temperature
