Heating circuit
Parameters
Description
Unit
Cooling limit
The value set here is also called the out-
door temperature cooling limit.
The outdoor temperature cooling limit
defines the average outdoor temperature
above which the cooling function of the
heating circuit is activated.
°C
If the average outdoor temperature is
lower than the target value, cooling is not
enabled.
Outdoor tem-
perature base
point
The temperature set here defines the av-
erage outdoor temperature at which the
cooling curve ends.
°C
Flow temper-
ature at base
point
Required flow temperature at outdoor
temperature base point
°C
Standard
outdoor tem-
perature
The standardised, highest outdoor tem-
perature of the climate region is set here.
°C
Flow tem-
perature at
standard
outdoor tem-
perature
Required flow temperature at standard
outdoor temperature
°C
Cooling curve
reference
room temper-
ature
The value set here is used as a reference
value and defines the target room tem-
perature to which the set cooling curve
refers.
°C
Dew point limiting
In order to prevent the formation of condensation on the
cooling surfaces, the minimum flow temperature in “Cool
-
ing” mode is limited by the dew point. The limit is calculated
by the controller using the following variables:
►
Current room temperature
►
Current relative humidity level in the room
In the absence of a room temperature, the substitute value
26°C is used. In the absence of a relative humidity value,
the dew point limit is calculated with a substitute value
of 60%.
Note
If dew point limiting is not required due to the de-
sign of the heating system, please contact your
service partner to deactivate this function.
Setting the cooling curve
»
Open the menu.
»
Select the heating circuit for which you want to make
a change.
»
Select “Cooling curve”.
Version 1: There is a required cooling curve from a previ-
ous heating system.
»
Set the cooling curve
»
Define the temperature to which you have cooled
with your existing cooling curve. Parameter: “Cooling
curve reference room temperature”
»
Set the following parameters to the same tempera-
ture: “Target room temperature standard cooling”
Target room temperature
standard cooling
=
Cooling curve reference room
temperature
»
Enter the initial setting values in the modification list.
(See page 28
»
Return to the main screen.
Version 2: There is no required cooling curve from a pre-
vious heating system.
»
Leave all parameters for the cooling curve setting at
the factory settings.
»
Use the following parameters to adjust the room tem-
perature to your requirements:
►
Target room temperature standard cooling
►
Target room temperature reduced cooling
»
Enter the initial setting values in the modification list.
(See page 28
»
Return to the main screen.
Note
If it is clear that the room temperature does not cor-
respond to your required temperature, especially
at higher or lower outdoor temperatures, you can
still make small changes, even after initially setting
the cooling curve.
Note
Incorrect cooling curve settings may cause faulty
operation of the heating circuit, resulting in a loss
of comfort.
»
Only make small adjustments.
»
Enter the adjustments in the modification list
provided.
Note
Due to the inertia of the heating system, the effect
of changes to the room temperature settings is al-
ways delayed.
»
Perform only one adjustment per day.
