Buffer tank
If a buffer tank has been installed, limits can be set for
the tank’s minimum and maximum temperatures. These
settings are necessary, as the following problems may
otherwise develop:
►
If the buffer tank temperature is too high and the
system has a direct heating circuit, the heating circuit
may be damaged or an emergency shutdown may re-
sult due to an excessively high flow temperature.
►
If the buffer tank temperature is too low, condensate
may start to form on the buffer tank due to humidity.
This leads to a risk of mould formation.
