12. If you press Yes in response to this warning, when the route is re-opened, its progress will be reset (check marks

removed), but the software will retain information about the last time each asset was tested as the example below
illustrates.

In most cases, an Installation will have only one asset assigned to it—commonly a motor driving a specific machine.
However, Installations such as warehouses can have more than one asset assigned. Within a Route list, you should see
one asset assigned to each installation, but the installation could be repeated in cases such as testing multiple spare
motors in a warehouse.

Keep in mind that the software will display Installations with no assets assigned, and assets that have not been
assigned to a Installation. In the first case, an asset might have been removed from a Installation, but the operator
forgot to assign a new asset in its place. Checking with a supervisor or administrator might be needed to determine if
a new asset has been installed in the Installation. Physically visiting the Installation will also reveal if an asset is installed.
In any case, the installed asset should then be entered into the software at the current Installation to keep the route
information current.

In the case of an unassigned asset, you will have to know where the asset is before it can be tested. This case
commonly applies to smaller motor testing shops where all the assets are located within one staging or storage area.
