Test Configuration

recommended for most assets because it provides the widest measurement range for accurate readings. For assets
with very low inductance, you can consider using 1000 Hz.

NOTE: Keep in mind that rotor position can affect inductance values.

Because capacitance values in industrial motors are typically low, capacitance testing is always performed at 4000 Hz to
ensure that adequate signals can be measured.
