Alternatives for Starting Manual Surge Testing

1. Press LEAD button to select lead to test.

2. Press and hold PTT button (top left of ADX front panel—1 below) to activate Surge test then turn the Voltage

Output Ramp switch (top right of the ADX front panel—2 below) clockwise to increase the voltage to the target
level.

NOTE: If you have a footswitch connected to the ADX, it provides an alternative to using the PTT button
to start and stop the test.

3. Run test for the desired number of pulses then release PTT / footswitch to stop test for the selected lead.
