Setting Privacy Masks
The
Video
Mask
sub-menu allows you to set up to five privacy masks on the image.
Note:
The privacy masks is added to the camera’s sensor and is also streamed on the
image through the ONVIF and RTSP protocols.
To set a privacy mask
1 On the
Encoder Settings
page, click the
Video Mask
tile.
The
Mask
sub-menu appears.
2 Select the
Enable to display Mask 1
check box to enable the first privacy mask on the
image.
The privacy mask appears on the image.
3 Select the privacy
Mask Color
from the list.
4 To edit a privacy mask, click the mask (red rectangle) in the video window.
5 To move the mask, do the following:
•
Place the mouse cursor in the center of the mask.
•
Click and drag the mask to a new location.
