Changing the Administrator Password
The User Profiles page appears.
2 In the Admin Password field, enter a new password.
Note: It is strongly recommended that you use a strong password (min. 8 characters
long, with the use of lower case and upper case letters, numbers, and special
symbols).
3 In the Confirm Password field, enter the new password a second time.
4 Click Save to save and apply the changes.
5 Select the authentication mode for the HTTP protocol from the HTTP Authentication
Setting list.
Options include Basic and Digest .
6 Click Save near the list to save and apply the changes.
7 Select the authentication mode for the RTSP streaming protocol from the Streaming
Authentication Setting list. The RTSP protocol allows streaming from the camera to
compatible media player applications.
Options include
Disable , Basic and Digest .
8 Click Save near the list to save and apply the changes.
9 Click the button to return to the home page.
