Viewing the System Log
Viewing the System Log
The Web Setup interface features a text-based system log that collects all of the main
actions performed on the camera.
To view the system log
1 On the
Web Setup
home page, under
System
, click
Log
.
The
System
Log
page appears.
2 Click the
Generate Syslog
button to export the log in a text file.
The
Save
As
dialog box appears.
3 Navigate to the folder where you want to save the system log, enter a name for the
text file, and then click
OK
.
4 Select the
Enable remote log
check box and enter the server’s
IP address
and
communication
Port
to automatically send the log to the selected server using the
Syslog protocol.
5 Click
Save
to save and apply the changes.
