Setting the Interface Language
Setting the Interface Language
You can set a different language for the Web Setup interface by accessing the
Local
Settings
page.
To set the interface language
1 On the
Web Setup
home page, under
System
, click
Local Settings
.
The
Local Settings
page appears.
2 Select a different language from the
Language
list.
3 Click the
Save
button to save and apply the changes.
The interface switches to the selected language.
4 Click the
button to return to the home page.
Changing the Administrator Password
The
User Profiles
page allows to change the password for the
admin
profile. The
admin
user profile is the only profile configurable on the camera; the profile has access to all
configuration. You cannot delete the
admin
profile.
Notes:
•
For cameras shipped with firmware version 1.1.0 and higher, the
Password Change
page appears at the first login.
•
The Web Setup interface allows you to set the password for the camera’s
administrator and configure the authentication mode for the HTTP and RTSP
protocols. If you want to assign specific permissions regarding the camera (for
example allow or deny a user to view live video, or manage alarms and switches), you
must integrate the camera in systems that are able to manage granular user rights,
such as Command Recording Servers, Command Enterprise servers, or 6700 Series
Hybrid NVRs.
To change the administrator password
1 On the
Web Setup
home page, under
Users
, click
Profiles
.
