Configuring Superimposed Text
Configuring Superimposed Text
The
Video Text Overlay
sub-menu allows you to configure superimposed text on the
video. It also allows you to add a superimposed image (for example a logo) to the video.
Note:
the superimposed image must be a 256x128 image in Bitmap (BMP) format. Other
formats and resolution are not accepted by the camera.
To configure superimposed text
1 On the
Encoder Settings
page, click the
Video Text Overlay
tile.
The
Video Text Overlay
sub-menu appears.
2 Select your configuration:

To add the current date and time as superimposed text:
a Select the
Include date & time
check box.
The text box appears on the video and the advanced options appear below the
check box.
b Select the date and time format from the
Type
list.
Options include
Date & Time
,
Date
only and
Time
only.
