Adjusting the Compression on Selected Regions
2 Select the encoding profile from the
Video Stream
list.
The first region (a red rectangle) appears on the image.
3 To edit the region, click the red rectangle on the image.
4 To move the region, do the following:
•
Place the mouse cursor in the center of the region.
•
Click and drag the region to a new location.
5 To resize the region, do the following:
•
Place the mouse cursor over one of the borders or edges, until it becomes a
double-edged arrow.
•
With your mouse cursor over the arrow, click and drag to resize the region.
6 Click
Add
and repeat steps 3-5 to add up to two additional regions on the image.
Notes:
•
The compression settings are applied to every region configured on a stream.
•
The unselected regions are represented as blue rectangles on the image. You can
select a region by clicking on one of the borders or edges.
•
To delete a region, select it and then click
Delete
.
7 Select
Enable
from the
ROI Encoding
list to adjust the compression on the configured
regions.
8 Select the compression on the configured regions from the
Quality
list. Higher values
correspond to a higher bit rate and higher image quality.
9 Click
Save
to save and apply changes.
10 Repeat steps 2-9 to configure the regions and adjust the image compression on the
remaining video streams.
