Before disconnecting the service valves from the compressor, check the

system for leaks using a leok detector capable of detecting a leak of

leak standard applies to a l l connections except the

Compressor front seal

Schraeder valves

Sight glass

The leak standard for the above

years. I t w i l l therefore be

necessary to have a leak detector capable of covering both standards.

It i s

recommended that the leak test be performed in a halogen-free atmosphere

w i t h no significant droughts of air.

CONDENSER

To Remove

1 .

Depressurise the air conditioning system by slackening the union nut securing

the pipe to the receiver-drier. Take the necessary precautions described under

the heading 'Refrigerant Pipework'.

2 .

From under the front of the vehicle, release the

from each side of the

condenser. Take the necessary precautions described under the headlng

'Refri

erant Pipework'.

Release the condenser from the mounting brackets and remove the condenser.

Replace

Reverse the removal procedure. Before assembling the

threads with refrigerant oil. See under heading 'Refrigerant Lubricants' for

refrigerant oils.
