To Remove

Remove the transmission unit from the vehicle, see Section

'F'

ENGINE.

2 .

Remove the clutch assembly from the flywheel by progressively releasing

the securing bolts around the periphery of the cover.

To Replace

1 .

W i t h the aid of a dummy input shaft centralise the driven plate on the flywheel

ENSURING the correct

i s

towards the flywheel.

2 .

Replace the clutch assembly on the fl

wheel, ensuring i t is located on the

dowels, and insert the bolts with spring washers. I t

i s

importont that the

bolts ore tightened uniformly t o

no distortion occurs on the

dia

hragm springs. Tighten each bolt one turn

a time until the specified

torque

is reached (see TECHNICAL DATA). Remove the dummy

input shaft.

Refit the transmission unit to the engine and check operotion of clutch.
