To Remove

Remove

assembly and separate engine from the

transmission unit.

Remove the cylinder head.

Remove the o i l sump.

Remove the connecting rod bearing cops. Remove the ring of carbon from

the top o f liner wall. Push the piston up ond out of the cylinder liner, by

rod. Remove the assembly to a bench.

Remove the piston rings. Extract the gudgeon p i n circlips

push the p i n

out o f the piston, thus releasin

the connecting rod. Mark a l l components

i n relation to each other, and t o the c

linder from which they were removed.

Using Special Tool

withdraw the liners from the cylinder block.
