GENERAL DESCRIPTION

wheel and tyre assemblies have been specifically

by Lotus C o n i n con-

junction w i t h the wheel arid tyre

with both

and stylin

i n

mind. The wheels are spigotted on t o the hubs i n order t o

concentricity between

axle ond tyre. Wheel and tyre assemblies are checked to a high standard o f balance

and true running, and when replacement tyres are fitted, these too must also be

t o the same high degree otherwise, the performance and

running of

the vehicle could be affected.

The spare wheel

stored i n the front baggage comportment.

Maintain the tyres at the correct pressures (see TECHNICAL DATA). Under-inflation

SPARE WHEEL

The spare wheel

i s

stored under the bonnet l i d i n the front baggoge compartment.

bolt with a large washer secures the wheel to

floor o f the compartment;

this can be removed using the wheel nut wrench.

When replacing the spare wheel ensure the retaining bolt, with washer,

i s

f u l l y

tightened down. Check the security of the wheel from time-to-time, as a loose

spare wheel can cause damage.
