wheel nut to specified torque as described i n "bevel pinion shaft" and

Check that the pinions rotate freely when out of gear.

surfaces and tighten a l l securing

to the torque specified i n the TECHNICAL DATA.

SHAFTS

Dismantle

Remove

dismantle the 'Clutch

as previously described.

2 .

Remove the grub screw securing the large nut which locks the bearing to the

shaft.

Using the box spanner

unscrew

remove the large nut.

Drive the shaft out through the bearing.

Remove the grub screw i n the top o f the

housing and using the special

remove the locking ring securing the beoring t o the shaft

housing

Gently tap out the two

races.

NOTE:

The two b a l l races must be

i n the some order, f i x labels

to indicate positions.

Drive out the double

outer ring using a tube of

m m

external

diameter.

Using the extractor

draw the inner bearing rings from the shaft.

Note positions.
