N3-S17

2nd Shaft

1. Remove the external snap ring (1).
2. Tap out the 2nd shaft (11) to the rear.
3. Remove the external snap ring (9) with tap out the 2nd shaft

(11) to the rear.

(When reassembling)

A

Install the protrusion portion (B) of the center rings to the holes
(A) of the gear firmly. (Refer to the figure left.)

A

Install the protrusion portion (D) of the outer synchronizer rings
to the grooves (C) of the inner synchronizer rings. (Refer to
the figure left.)

A

Install the synchronizer keys in the key groove of the outer
synchronizer rings firmly.

Steps and Clutch Housing Cover

1. Remove the floor mat.
2. Disconnect the foot accelerator rod (1).
3. Remove the steps (2).
4. Remove the clutch housing cover (3).
