Separating Transmission Case

1. Remove the transmission upper cover (1).
2. Remove the transmission case mounting screws (2) and nut

(3), and separate the transmission case from the clutch
housing.

(When reassembling)

A

Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1216 or equivalent) to joint
face of the transmission case and clutch housing,
transmission upper cover and transmission case.
