Description

Every external equipment connected to the TV80 system offers one or more
measurements. A gauge allows you to see the information you want from the sensor you
want and with the appearance you want. You can view on your screen presentation any
measurement received by the TV80 with a gauge of your choice. In the

Measurements

dialog box you can easily see all the measurements received in a specific port and if
the TV80 system is validating it.

Note

Inspection points provide important information about the connection. The colour of an
inspection point helps you to identify the quality of the information that is received.

• When an inspection point is green, the information is properly received.

• When an inspection point is red, it means that a specific datagram is not recognized.

This is not a critical error since many systems have proprietary NMEA datagram
sentences that are not used, and therefore do not need decoding.
