(Pitch and Roll) Calibration dialog box

If you want your sensor to measure the pitch and roll of the trawl doors, you must
calibrate it.

Prerequisites

Calibration must be done with the sensor mounted in its installation adapter on the
trawl door(s).

You need a special interface unit or cable to do the configuration task yourself.

How to open

The relevant configuration dialog box is opened from the

Add New Sensor

dialog box. To

open the

Add New Sensor

dialog box, select

Add New Sensor

at the bottom of the

Sensor

list

page in the

Installation

dialog box. The

Sensor List

page is located in the

Installation

dialog box. The

Installation

dialog box is located on the

Setup

menu.

Description

If you do not calibrate your sensors you will not know if the pitch and roll readings are
correct. If existing sensors have been replaced, or new sensors have been installed, a
new calibration is required if the trawl door installation offset values are not available. A
new calibration may also be required after an update of the TV80 software.

Follow the instructions provided in the dialog box to perform the task.

Once defined the measurements you want your catch monitoring sensor to make, you can
optimise their range values in order to get a better resolution.
