Introduction to PX Sensors Configuration dialog boxes

The configuration parameters available in the relevant configuration dialog boxes allow
you to set up which measurements the sensor shall make and which communication
channels it shall use for these measurements.

How to open

The relevant configuration dialog box is opened from the

Add New Sensor

dialog box. To

open the

Add New Sensor

dialog box, select

Add New Sensor

at the bottom of the

Sensor

list

page in the

Installation

dialog box. The

Sensor List

page is located in the

Installation

dialog box. The

Installation

dialog box is located on the

Setup

menu.

Description

This dialog box presents a number of parameters that are common to all

Configuration

dialog boxes and some that are specific to the type of sensor connected.

A

Configuration parameters specific for each sensor

Some sensors have their own specific configuration parameters. Not all sensors can
make all measurements. Depending on the type of sensor, its location on the gear
and where it points to (vessel or gear), the parameters to perform the configuration
may change.
