Pregnant women protection
Pregnant women need to seek a
doctor for advice before riding. They
had better use 3-point safety belts.
The hip segment of the safety belt
shall be kept loose and comfortable
and as low as possible.
Pregnant women shall be kept far from
the steering wheel or instrument board
as much as possible. They shall keep
their body vertical to reduce injury risks
due to collision accidents or airbag
inflation.
Airbag
Carefully read the SRS description
in the glovebox and on the sun
visor back over the driver seat.
○ The airbag is an integral part of
vehicle passive safety system
instead of the substitute for safety
belts. Only when airbags and
safety belts simultaneously work
can passengers obtain maximum
safety protection.
○ Airbags will be inflated only
when a serious frontal collision
occurs. Airbags will not work
when a side or rear collision
happens or when a roll-over
occurs. Airbags are one-time
devices and must not be re-used.

JAC J5 passenger car is equipped with
a SRS system. The system, marked
with the word"SRSAIRBAG", is located
on the steering wheel central cover
and the console in the front of
secondary driver seat.When a collision
accident takes place, the SRS system
will provide additional safety protection
for the driver and front seat passenger
besides seat safety belts.
